Anne Lehman

Biography

Anne Lehman has been an assistant instructor for Myopain Seminars since 2018.  She is a physical therapist specializing in manual therapy, dry needling orthopedics, and cancer rehabilitation, with additional expertise in vestibular and concussion management. She owns a cash-based private physical therapy practice in the Milwaukee area focused on orthopedics and dry needling. 

Anne earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Physical Therapy from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI in 2002, and is currently pursuing her transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2003 and later obtained certification through the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) in 2008. In 2022, she achieved recognition as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS).

Anne has extensive teaching experience, serving as an Adjunct Lab Instructor at Marquette University, assisting in courses such as Physical Technologies & Electrotherapeutic Modalities and Tests & Measures. She has been a guest lecturer on cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema at multiple Milwaukee-area DPT programs, as well as presenting educational content to both nursing and rehabilitation professionals. She has also spoken at cancer survivor community events on the importance of exercise throughout survivorship.

Anne contributed as a peer reviewer for An Executive Summary of the APTA Academy for Oncologic Physical Therapy Clinical Practice Guideline: Interventions for Breast Cancer–Related Lymphedema. In 2018, she was honored with the Mary Pat Murray Award for Clinical Excellence from the Southeast District of the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association.
