Full Course Description
The foundational MSK Ultrasound Bootcamp UE course is the first of two courses. The second course in the series covers the lower extremity. The MSK Ultrasound Bootcamp UE course is a prerequisite for the MSK Ultrasound Bootcamp LE course.
Why should you attend our hands-on boot camp?
Advanced diagnostic MSK ultrasound of extremity joints is highly relevant to all MSK professionals, providing a valuable tool for accurate medical and physical therapy diagnosis, intervention, and follow-up. This can significantly improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Our expert faculty will guide you through (sono)anatomy, demos, and (sono)pathology with much hands-on time during the workshop.
Learning MSK ultrasound can enhance professionals' knowledge and skills, support their professional development, expand their career opportunities, and benefit their clinics and practices. Moreover, attending an MSK ultrasound course can be a transformative experience, fundamentally changing how professionals view anatomy and pathology!
After completing this premium quality blended learning course, you will be a master of MSK ultrasound on a foundational level, ready to take on any challenge in your clinical practice!
Course Format
The course is offered as a hybrid or blended course, combining online and onsite learning. Blended learning adds an exciting element to classroom teaching that supports mastering newly learned skills. The course incorporates many of the best aspects of face-to-face teaching (personalized learning and social interaction), while allowing greater variety and flexibility than a traditional classroom setup. Between the two courses, you will review over 190 professionally recorded videos totaling 20 hours of on-demand content valued at US$700, available to you before, during, and for six months after the course.
During the hands-on part of the course, we feature one ultrasound system per three students.
Required Textbook
The book "Musculoskeletal Ultrasound of the Extremity Joints: Technical Scanning Guidelines" (a $145 value) is included in your registration!
